Cosy maisonette apartment under a thatched roof, right by the Baltic Sea
This holiday house complex right behind the embankment in Zingst was newly built in 1995/1996.
The charming maisonette apartment provides 54m² of living space, comprising a living room-bedroom, an open sleeping gallery, a bathroom and a kitchen. The living room provides a comfortable double sofa bed, a dining table, an HD flatscreen TV and a little stereo system. The separate kitchen is fully-equipped with a dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster etc. Stairs lead to the large open gallery under the thatched roof with a double bed and ample space for a cot (included if booked). The bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet.
Eight two-storey houses were built in a typical local thatched roof style, spread over a beautiful site with mature trees – pine and birch. The apartment has a little balcony facing south-west, where you can spend enjoyable hours. A car parking space is available. The garden area behind the house can be used for relaxing or as a playing lawn for children.
The holiday complex is secured by a barrier and is fenced and separated off by hedges, so only those with permission can access the site. NOTE: please note that the owner provides a numbered car parking space (no. 6) allocated to the apartment. Arrivals with a trailer, caravan or other vehicles larger than a car are not permitted and may lead to exclusion by the house management. Larger vehicles or trailers must be parked for a fee off site.
The proximity to the beach means you rarely need a car during your stay. A few steps over the embankment and you are on the wonderful kilometre-long fine sandy Baltic Sea beach. The wide dog beach is also nearby. A nature reserve borders the complex, which you can explore on foot or by bicycle. Between the sea and the holiday complex, on the embankment, there is a cycle path connecting the centre about 3km away with the Osterwald nature reserve. If you would not like to bring your own bicycle then there is bicycle hire next door with well-priced bicycles, also a bread rolls delivery service. There are bicycle stands in front of the house.
