This spacious holiday home with private pool is located about 9 km above Pieve Santo Stefano on the southern slopes of the Apennines. The former farmhouse has been restored in a rustic style and lovingly furnished; the nine bedrooms are spread over three floors and two buildings, some with separate entrances. The centrepiece is the large covered terrace with a view of the valley, where you can enjoy meals outdoors in any weather and grill on the large barbecue. Products from our own production can be purchased on site. The private, fenced pool area is just 50 metres above, with a sun terrace, pool house and sweeping views of the unspoilt forest landscape. There are hiking trails everywhere and the area is especially fun for bikers - you have the choice between the Casentino Nature Park and the Sasso Simone Nature Park, both of which are worthwhile destinations! At an altitude of over 1000 metres, you can also enjoy hot summer days. You can also conquer this landscape on horseback at the riding centre (10 km). You can also swim in the still young Tiber, at the waterfall 5 km away (fun for the children) or relax in the warm thermal baths of Bagno di Romagna (20 km). There are lovely medieval towns to discover in the surrounding area: Caprese Michelangelo with the artist's birthplace and good restaurants (18 km), Sansepolcro , the birthplace of Piero della Francesca with its art gallery, cathedral and large weekly market (22 km), the picturesque hill town of Anghiari (29 km); Arezzo (60 km) and Perugia (90 km) are within an hour's drive, as is the Adriatic coast, for a day of swimming at Cesenatico (80 km).
