NordseeResort Büsum is just a few minutes' cycle and walk from the North Sea dyke, where you will find beach chairs and the Perlebucht bathing lagoon with its sandy beach. Take the handcart with you on your excursions, which is available here. The lagoon is well worth a visit with its sheltered seawater bathing lakes and fine sandy beach. Büsum also offers the Blanker Hans adventure museum - you can also visit the Piratenmeer wave pool or the Wellness Oasis in rough weather. You should also visit the navigable sandy beaches of St. Peter Ording and the Eider barrage.

From Büsum harbour you can take a boat to Heligoland or the Wadden Sea National Park, as well as small planes from Büsum airfield. In nearby Friedrichskoog is the seal station, in Tönning you will find the interesting Multimar Wattforum.
