Surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Haute-Vallée de l'Aude, the gîte de la Petite Métairie de Lamourade welcomes you for a relaxing stay in a natural setting. The ecological domain is located between Espéraza and Saint-Ferriol, its location will allow you to enjoy the calm of the surroundings while being close to the shops (supermarket in Couiza 5 minutes away, restaurant in the village of Saint-Ferriol). There are many walks to be made from and around the gîte, so if you like hiking, you will be well served! It is also a unique place to discover and visit the attractions of the region such as the dinosaur museum in Esperaza, Rennes-le-Château and its mysterious treasure, the Pic de Bugarach or the Cathar castle of Puivert, all within 30 minutes! Fishermen will find their happiness on the banks of the river Aude located 1.5km from Lamourade. Carcassonne and Limoux are also great places to spend the day. On site, you will enjoy a beautiful private and sheltered terrace on the ground floor with a barbecue available to liven up your meals as well as a private balcony-terrace on the first floor with garden furniture to relax while admiring the landscape. The large common outdoor space of the domain is accessible with a playground for children. The owner, a riding instructor, can welcome your horses during your stay with lessons and training. Outside of this, animals are not accepted or contact the owner directly.

The gîte is attached to the owners' house and comprises on the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, an independent living room with TV, sofa bed and armchairs opening directly onto the first private terrace. On the first floor, two bedrooms with two double beds. An independent shower room with shower and washbasin. 2 independent toilets. A second independent shower room with shower and washbasin. Private parking in the domain. Baby equipment on request. WIFI connection in the gîte.
