This villa is a gracious property ideal for families and small groups, immersed in the greens of the cortonese mountains between oak and chestnut trees. These places evoke a charm with flavors of ancient times and represent the secret soul of the most profound Tuscany which has preserved its own beautiful landscapes and architecture throughout the centuries.

The villa originates as the annex of the mansion house, which rises in the immediate proximity and has recently been reconstructed respecting the original architectural features: terracotta floors, wood beams and casings, stone stairs. The house expands on 2 floors which are not connected internally. The swimming pool was built in a panoramic position in the big park surrounding the villa, equipped with barbecue tables and chairs.

    “Das Haus ist wunderschön, wenn auch recht abseits gelegen. Ringsum sind nur vereinzelte Bauernhöfe und die Fahrt in die nächstgrößere Stadt Cortona dauert ungefähr 35 min mit dem Auto. Ausflüge in die umliegenden Städte (z.B. Arezzo, Assisi, Florenz) sind möglich, man muss allerdings beachten, dass man immer vom Berg runterfahren muss, sprich viele Kurven fahren.
    Das Haus ist rustikal und einfach eingerichtet. Das Erdgeschoss war bei unserer Ankunft leider sehr feucht, da es die Tage zuvor stark geregnet hatte, weshalb es noch mehr Kellerasseln als sonst gab und es ziemlich muffig gerochen hat. Die drei Schlafräume im Erdgeschoss waren dadurch nicht sonderlich beliebt.
    Das Haus an sich war absolut sauber, die Besitzer sehr gastfreundlich und fast täglich anwesend, um den Müll abzuholen und uns Würste aus eigener Herstellung und Eier vorbeizubringen. Am letzten Abend haben uns die Besitzer zudem eine riesige, selbstgemachte Pizza zubereitet.
    Der Pool liegt wunderschön etwas unterhalb des Fereinhauses und hatte genug Liegen und Schirme für alle Mitreisenden.

    “Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Wir bekamen bei Ankunft frische Eier, Olivenöl und eine Flasche Rotwein. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist in Ordnung. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.”
