Cottage located 150m from the hamlet of Secun Haut, small traditional hamlet of the Tarnese mountain with a dozen souls, 600m above sea level. The cottage is independent, with a garden and a beautiful terrace. It is reached by a few steps. Living room with open kitchen, sitting area, insert, two bedrooms, bathroom. The terrace overlooks the garden, and offers a beautiful view of the woods. Sheets and towels can be provided on demand, possibility of cleaning service end of stay. Between Castres and Brassac, in the Regional Natural Park of Haut-Languedoc, in the heart of Sidobre, the largest granite plateau in Europe. A multitude of picturesque sites with their gigantic pebbles that seem to defy the laws of gravity. Young and old have something to ponder: some weigh nearly 900 tons and are miraculously poised. In the near surroundings: the lake of Merle and its floating stones, Brassac, Burlats, but also a little further away Albi and its Episcopal City classified with the Patrimony of Humanity, Cordes-sur-ciel, the Black Mountain, etc ... Ideal for lovers of nature and calm. Many walks in the vicinity, or donkey with your host. Picking mushrooms and chestnuts. you can also discover the fabulous River Agout with its bowls where you can jump, dive, swim and sunbathe. Searchers of legends, fishermen, mountain bikers, the Sidobre is for you.

A modular cottage!
At the end of the hamlet of Secun in the Sidobre, where the road stops and turns into a path that goes into the forest, the cottage of Mimosas welcomes you all year round from 2 to 6 people. With its 3 bedrooms, it is modular for couples, friends, families with children and gatherings.

Entering through a small door typical of these old buildings of Sidobre, you arrive in the large kitchen: fully equipped, with a dishwasher and a wood stove (in addition to gas and oven), you can simmer delicious dishes on cool days. Not to mention roasting chestnuts on the embers!

The living room is right next door, intimate, nicely renovated between stones and wood. The bathroom is also on the ground floor, next to the separate toilet.

Pets are welcome, but we ask for a supplement of 4€/night/animal as well as that they are imperatively treated against fleas and ticks. They must be kept on a leash in the hamlet.

The parking lot:
We will tell you where to place your car to unload, and the parking space that will be reserved for you during your stay, about 200 meters from the cottage.

The connection:
Here, between the trees and the relief, the telephone network is sometimes difficult to find, according to the operators. Nice, a little disconnection! If necessary, we will be able to indicate the areas from which the phones receive the best.
The wifi is present in the cottage. In case of mist, rain or strong wind, it can become capricious. Slip a small book into the suitcase, or discover those that are available at the reception!
