Mallorca's small villages often reveal unexpected treasures: Montblau is an outstanding townhouse, especially after a magnificent renovation. Standing on the street in front of the wooden entrance door (right next to the garage entrance), you would hardly realise what a magnificent view awaits you behind it. In the truest sense of the word, as the metre-high glass façades and two terraces bring you very close to the Tramuntana mountains and put the surroundings of Búger at your feet. You can enjoy the breathtaking panorama in complete privacy on the comfortable sun loungers on the roof terrace, swim in the small pool with waterfall in the greenery or retreat to the loggia with glass extension, which provides shade. On the lower terrace, the whirlpool and gas barbecue are waiting to provide you with pleasant hours in the evening light. Breakfast with espresso and croissants is the first highlight of the day here (there is a small bakery and supermarket in the village). It wouldn't be surprising if you simply spent a day in this town palace in Búger from time to time, enjoying its amenities to the full and relaxing completely.

Don't let the name fool you, Montblau is a stylish villa with ultra-modern furnishings that favour the colour white. With large glass accents, it allows the landscape inside to flow through and take centre stage. The olive tree in the living loft, large-format pictures and various light sources serve as additional eye-catchers. The two floors have an airy and open design with a gallery and full-length window fronts that connect the interior and exterior spaces from top to bottom and form a harmonious unit. Underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth. Comfortable upholstered furniture and a large flat-screen TV complement the luxurious high-gloss kitchen, which is connected to a double bedroom and the shared bathroom (in the entrance area). A staircase leads up to a further three bedrooms - oases of well-being in subtle colours, with beds that will have you floating on cloud nine. The double beds measure an impressive 1.8 x 2 metres. All four bathrooms are of course equipped with walk-in showers and are integrated into the rooms as en-suites, which is definitely a plus if you are travelling as a couple.

From Palma airport, the MA-13 will take you via Inca almost directly to the townhouse in the two-hill town of Búger: it doesn't get any more convenient than this. What's more, the location attracts visitors with its rural beauty and versatility, with worthwhile excursion destinations, cycle tours and hikes in all directions. Drive or climb up to the Tramuntana, the path through Campanet (with impressive stalactite caves) and the narrow streets of Caimaris will take you up to the famous Lluc monastery. Visit the Calvary and the impressive old town of Pollença or immerse yourself in the medieval charm of Alcúdia, all around 20 kilometres away. Perhaps you would like to include a visit to the beach of one of the two Badias in your itinerary and use the evening for a stroll through the restaurants and shops. A relatively unknown gem lies further north in the nature reserve: the Museo Sa Cova Blanca, a Moorish dream with a sculpture park and rose garden, will delight you with its modern art. A style icon with a rooftop pool and magnificent views of the Tramuntana mountains: this modern townhouse around 20 kilometres from Badia d'Alcúdia and the Lluc monastery has a real wow effect. Búger and the down-to-earth Sa Pobla, with its old town and weekly Sunday market, are your nearest ports of call. For larger shopping trips, however, Inca can be easily reached in around 15 minutes via the MA-13 motorway.
