Sulz was given a piece of estate by its twin city Montendre due to the 20-year partnership anniversary. Thats where the "Maison Sulz," was established which offers accomodation for up to 18 people. Therefore it is particularly suitable for schools, groups, clubs and families. Montendre is an idyllic small town with approximately 3,500 inhabitants and is situated in the southwest of France. The landmark of Montendre are the large pine forests. The castle overlooks the village and a swimming lake offers refreshment on hotter days. The area around Montendre is one of the sunniest places in France. Wine, Pineau and Cognac are produced here.
