Between the Müritz National Park and Penzlin is the small community of Ankershagen in beautiful Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Quietly situated, this cozy thatched vacation home invites you to a relaxing and restful vacation. The surrounding area is characterized by a fascinating hilly landscape and various lakes.

On two floors there is enough space for 4 guests. All rooms are bright and comfortably furnished. On the first floor there is a cozy living room with a dining area, a small kitchen with ceramic hob and a modern bathroom with shower. There is also a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster and a transportable baking device at your disposal. A narrow staircase leads to the upper floor with its sloping roof, which offers two nice bedrooms with single beds.

Start the day with a cozy breakfast on your terrace or end it with a relaxing barbecue on the property. A hammock is also at your disposal.

For excursions in the surrounding area, the friendly owner couple has many tips ready and will gladly provide bicycles. Nature lovers can hike here, swim at various lakes, fish or watch storks in Friedrichsfelde, near the Müritz National Park. Ankershagen is also known for its mounds and large stone graves from the Bronze Age. Recommended excursions are a visit to Penzlin Castle, only 10 km away, or walk in the footsteps of the famous archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann whose museum you can admire in Ankershagen.
