Especially enjoy the walk over the dunes to get to the beach, where you can enjoy nice swimming days in summer and refreshing walks in winter.
A good atmosphere awaits you in the harbor town of Hvide Sande. You can fish from the pier or the lock, and the place also hosts good restaurants. Also take a look at Fiskeriets Hus. On a trip around Ringkøbing Fjord you will encounter a diverse nature, on the coast the landscape is dominated by the wind and quieter spots can be found at the back of the fjord. On the way you will also find the interesting towns of Ringkøbing, Skjern and Tarm.
